Julie's Bill

Julie's Bill is a bill we are working on to advocate for domestic abuse training for those in the court system. It is the implementation of the new federally passed Kayden's Law in the 2022 Reauthorization of the Violence against Women's Act which also provides for protections for children of domestic abuse in family court. This also includes reviewing Wisconsin's statutes on covering elements of coercive control in domestic abuse statues.
